The Team
At the start of 2024 Pole Bicycle company went into receivership leaving the Pole factory race team without a sponsor or funding just 2 weeks before the first race of the DH season.
Phil Seton stepped up and took on the team with the plan to support his 2 young talented riders and help them to complete the 2024 season.
Onni Rainio
Onni Had been employed by Pole since 2023 and followed up an awesome 2023 DH world cup season with his second year in the team.
Dan Slack
Dan had his first season in the team in 2024 after several seasons in the World Cup. He had a stellar season in 2024 despite the difficult situation but his determination and fantastic work ethic earned him an overall position of 50th place in the world cup rankings and a best finish of 28th place. What a season. Thank you Dan for all your hard work and never say die attitude. We would love to work with you again in the future.
For 2025 we will be sitting out the seasons racing.
Due to new rules from WBO it is currently not viable for us to run the team in 2025.
The future is still bright though and we plan a return in the future when we can have more time to plan our strategy and get partners onboard. We will see how the 2025 season pans out with the new rules and look to the 2026 season.
